I have been gone over a week on a much needed vacation with my guys. I had every intention of sharing this card before I walked out the door to Disney but I ran out of time. It features my favorite hostess set, Best Thoughts. Obviously I can't get enough of it...mainly because it is incredibly versatile, but let's face it...I love flower stamps.
I started with a basic 5.5"x4.25" card base covered with a strip of Timeless Elegance DSP and a panel of Farmers Market DSP. I stamped the flowers on Whisper White cardstock with Memento Jet Black Ink and colored with my Copic markers (non-SU). I fussy cut the flowers and layered them. (Copic Markers: Y08, Y11, Y13, R02, R05, R22, V04, V06, V09, YG03, YG06.)
I used a Hello You Thinlit die to cut the words twice (Cucumber Crush and Basic Black) and slightly offset them to give dimension. Linen thread and rhinestones add a nice finishing touch.
