It is sketch week at Global Design Project and I have literally flipped this one on its side.
I struggled a bit with this sketch until I decided to take a different perspective on it. I opted to make it a vertical card and kept the focal point in the same direction. There was just a little too much white space on this sketch for my personal style, so I made a few adjustments until I came up with something that I could live with. The gorgeous DSP in this suite made it easy.
The elements come almost exclusively from the Hydrangea Hill Suite and those tiny pearls are retired (sorry about that). The new pearls are slightly larger, but I am fairly certain they will work just as well...I just don't have any yet.
The flower is definitely the star of the show. I die-cut flowers from Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Purple Posy cardstock and shaped them before assembling the larger flower. I also colored the pearl centers using Highland Heather Stampin' Blends.
We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.

If you are in the United States and need a demonstrator, then you can order your supplies in my online store here.
