We have a great sketch challenge at Global Design Project this week. This one is very easy to work with.
For my card, I started with a Whisper White top-folding card base and then added a 3.25" wide piece of the Pleased as Punch DSP (#153558). This designer series paper is part of the Coordinating Product Release.
You may not recognize this stamp set because it is part of the Sale-a-Bration second release available to customers March 3-31, 2020. This lovely set is called Tags in Bloom (#152292) and can be earned with a $100 (U.S.) purchase. It doesn't come with coordinating dies, but rest assured, it was fairly easy to fussy cut. The frame, however, does coordinate with the Label Me Lovely Punch (#151296) from the Spring Mini Catalog. I used Memento ink to stamp the floral frame and then used Stampin' Blends to color the flowers. I stamped and cut a second set of flowers to add to the bottom of the frame.
I stepped up the design by adding silver glitter foilage die cut with the Frosted Bouquet Die Set (#147895). I tried to stay true to the sketch, but I ran into a little snag with the additional greeting. It just didn't look right centered at the bottom of the frame, so I added a little make-shift tag and placed the greeting off to the side.
We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.
