The theme for this week's challenge at Global Design Project is Let It Grow.
This is an easy theme for me because you know how much I love flowers. For this card I stamped several flowers/leaves using the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set using various colors of ink (Highland Heather, Melon Mambo, Grapefruit Grove, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, and Mossy Meadow). Then die cut everything with the coordinating Lily Pad Dies. I set the flowers to the side and then began building the card.
I used Thick Whisper White cardstock to create a top-folding card and stamped the greeting from Peaceful Moments (#151595) in black ink. I also used the decorative element from the Lily Pad Dies to cut Whisper White cardstock and applied three to the lower portion of the card.
Next, I started building a bouquet of beautiful flowers on my tabletop. I used Press N' Seal (from the grocery store) to pick up the arrangement so that I could flip it over and add adhesive. Once I had almost everything in place I flipped it back over and added the entire piece to the card front.
Finally, I scattered some rhinestones around the edges of the flowers and the card was complete. We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.
I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR
If you are in the United States and need a demonstrator, then you can order your supplies in my online store here.
