We have another wonderful sketch challenge this week at Global Design Project. I look a lot of liberties with this versatile sketch.
The first thing you will probably notice is that I changed the orientation and made a top-folding verticle card instead.
I had a few assembled flowers on my desk that I made a few weeks ago using the Floral Essence Stamp Set.(#149450). I colors used are Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight, and Granny Apple Green. I die cut a base layer of Whisper White cardstock and then embossed it with the Subtle embossing folder. Then I used a piece of scrap cardstock cut slightly smaller to reinforce the layer and used Dimensionals to raise the entire panel.
I also cut a decorative background piece from Gold Foil cardstock using the new Detailed Bands die set (#149549) and used gold heat embossing for the greeting from the Nature's Roots stamp set.
We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.
Here is a little bonus card I made with the same sketch using the Bloom & Grow stamp set. This monochromatic card used Blueberry Bushel and white heat embossing for the greeting. This elegant card is great if you are limited on supplies or in a hurry.
I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR
If you are in the United States and need a demonstrator, then you can order your supplies in my online store here.
