We have a very versatile sketch challenge this week at Global Design Project. I also have another little sneak peek.
As a demonstrator, we are able to pre-purchase certain items from the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. The Magnolia Lane Suite is already enormously popular and I just happen to adore magnolias...so it was the very first thing on my wish list.
This beautiful flower is quite large, so I decided to go with a 5.5" square card. I also wanted to use some of the beautiful designer series paper in the suite, so I stayed with the traditional Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow on Whisper White. I used Stampin' Blends Markers to color the images.
To add a touch of interest, I used the partial die-cutting technique to only cut around the top edge of the flower while leaving a solid bottom edge. I left just enough room for the beautiful sentiment. I added a strip of Mossy Meadow behind the image and then popped everything up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
