We have gone monochromatic this week at the Global Design Project. I pulled out every single color of green stamp pad I have to create this colorful card.
Monochrome doesn't have to mean boring...there are so many different shades of green...from the bright yellowish green of Lemon Lime Twist all the way to a grayish tones of Pear Pizzazz and everything in between...there is no need to feel like you don't have variety. Here are all the colors I used: Tranquil Tide, Garden Green, Call Me Clover, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz, and Lemon Lime Twist.
I dare say that there is nothing boring about this color combo! And this card came together in a snap because I had several of the die cut elements already cut and in a little bowl that I keep on my stamping table. I especially like to keep any extra leaf-style scraps handy for just such an opportunity as this. Just don't ask me to tell you which dies I used...lol, that just may be an imposibble task!
I used elements from multiple stamp sets for this card as well: Rooted in Nature, Cake Soiree, Incredible Like You, and Pop of Petals. The fancy sentiment is from Colorful Seasons and it perfect for the theme of this card.
Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog. We would love to have you play along with us this week.
