This week at the Global Design Project challenge blog we are CASEing this card by Allison Okamistu. Here's what I see when I look at Allison's card...a great color pallet, a stamped background, and a classic layout.
For my card, I used the Incredible Like You photopolymer stamp set (#148708) on Whisper White cardstock. I used a similar color pallet of Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Whisper White.
It is springtime in Nashville, so I was inspired to lighten things up a bit by using a clean white card base. To keep things light, I stamped-off once before stamping each polka dot with Crushed Curry ink on a Thick Whisper White card panel die cut with the second largest frame from the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (#148551).
The flowers and leaves were stamped and fussy cut by hand and arranged on a die cut vellum circle. I also stamped the greeting in Bermuda Bay ink. Finally, I added a few clear droplets (retired) and mounted the panel on a top-folding Thick Whisper White card base.
We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.
