Our theme challenge this week at Global Design Project is Country/Farm Life. This one was fairly easy for me since many of the projects I make have a bit of a country look and feel to it.
Last week the Artisan Design Team introduced the new Blended Seasons Bundle available for demonstrators in July and to customers in August. I created the card using the elements from the bundle along with some Tea Room Specialty DSP.
I stamped the flower image several times with StazOn Ink on Shimmery White cardstock. To get these bolder colors, I used an AquaPainter and touched the tip to the watercolor pencils. I started with a light wash and then worked up to more intense color. I used a variety of colors from the core set of watercolor pencils along with some of the new colors in the Watercolor Assortment 2.
I used the frame die in the bundle to die cut the image. I wrapped around some Linen Thread and added the sentiment.
