Our theme challenge this week at Global Design Project is Easter.
I am totally in love with the Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. With Sale-a-bration ending soon, I just had to make a card featuring this beautiful cardstock. The single-sided design of the cardstock makes it the perfect choice for creating card bases. This particular card is a standard 5.5"x4.25" size, but if you trim your card bases to 4" wide, you can get three great card bases out of one 12"x12" sheet with a few leftovers as well. The packaging says that the the flowers and dots sheets are rose gold, but honestly, it pairs fabulously with our copper foil sheets and copper thread.
For the focal point, I fussy cut several flowers/leaves from the dsp and colored them with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive ink using sponge daubers. It really doesn't get much easier than this!
Can you believe that I almost didn't play along with our GDP project this week because I don't have a current Easter stamp. I love Easter, so I decided to use the Labeler Alphabet stamp set to create a custom sentiment.
We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.
I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR
If you are in the United States and need a demonstrator, then you can order your supplies in my online store here.
Have a blessed day!
