It's time for a color challenge at Global Design Project this week.
This week I have been making encouragement note cards to donate to a local women's shelter. My goal is to make 100 cards using supplies I have on hand. I decided to keep the designs fairly simple, yet I want them to be special. So rather than take a detour from my project, I decided to incorporate the color challenge into some of my cards and accomplish two things at once. The finished size of the cards are 2.75"x3.75". I guess you can say that I have been thinking small. :) This may seem like a random size, but they are just right. This way I am able to use a 6"x6" pieces of DSP to make beautiful 3"x4" coordinating envelopes using an Envelope Punch Board. I can also get 4 note cards from one 8.5"x11" piece of cardstock. I have been mostly using retired stamps and products on my cards, but I made these using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set along with the challenge colors of Daffodil Delight, Emerald Envy, and Watermelon Wonder.
We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.
I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR
If you are in the United States and need a demonstrator, then you can order your supplies in my online store here.
