Happy New Year! We are CASEing this lovely card by the oh-so-talented Jess Williams this week at the Global Design Project challenge blog.
It is time for a little confession. I made this card several weeks ago as a display for the Atlanta OnStage event. My craft room is packed away for the holidays so I decided to dig through my card stash and pick the best one for the challenge...yes, it is cheating, I know...but it does really work quite well for the challenge, so I decided to use it.
I used the ink refill smooch technique on watercolor paper to create the background. Then I stamped the balloons and the sentiment. Finally I die cut the hot air balloon and added with dimensionals.
