This week at Global Design Project we are CASEing yours truly. I have to tell you that it is very strange to CASE yourself and/or be the focus of a CASE challenge. This is the card we are CASEing and here is a link to the original card.
I decided to focus on the flowers and the colors from my previous card and here is what I came up with. I was also influenced by an amazing stamp artist, Yana Smakula. I love her style, but I do find a lot of her things difficult to CASE because the product she typically uses is so different than what I have on hand. However, I do love how she combines her design elements and I have tried to give it a go with this card.
Here's a fun fact...I made this card almost entirely with scraps from previous cards. I have a big box of leftovers and other than the card base and the die cut word, I already had everything I needed. The word "joy" is several die cuts stacked on top of each other to help give it stability. Here is a link to the card I made previously. It was a CASE of our inspiration card as well.
We would love to have you play along with us this week. Be sure to check out what the other talented designers/players have created for this fun challenge at the Global Design Project Challenge Blog.
I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOUR STAMPIN' UP! DEMONSTRATOR
If you are in the United States and need a demonstrator, then you can order your supplies in my online store here.
Have a blessed day!
