Hi friends. Yes, it is time for yet another Artisan Design Team blog hop. I hope you got to see all the amazing projects we posted on Tuesday for the limited edition Thoughtful Branches bundle. These gals are so incredibly talented and it is such a joy to be on the ADT with them. For this blog hop we could create anything we wanted using the products that were included in our ADT quarterly box. I love the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and coordinating Flourish Thinlits dies so that is what I used for this card.
I started by stamping the background with with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Next, I tied on some Linen Thread and then built the rest of the card from there. I wanted the flowers to really pop of the black cardstock, so I used colors that I know look great...Soft Sky, Real Red, and Daffodil Delight...to stamp the flowers. The original flowers were too big, so I cut away several petals to create smaller ones.
I was super easy to create lots of greenery by die cutting various colors of green cardstock for the leaves. The sentiments in this set are very versatile. I stamped the greeting on Whisper White cardstock with Black Archival ink and used the Circle Layers framelits to cut various layers of cardstock. Then it was just the matter of assembling everything.
I put a list of the supplies for this project at the very bottom of this post, so be sure to check there to see what you need to make this card. If you are already going through the hop, you should have just arrived here from visiting my wonderful friend, Cindy Schuster. Inge is out this week so next on our hop is the very talented Jennifer Frost. Be sure to head on over and check out what she and the the rest of the Artisan Design Team team have in store by clicking on the button below.
