Welcome back to our Fancy Friday Blog Hop. This month we are picking one of the many bundles from the Annual Idea Book and Catalog and creating samples. I have some fun cards for you today based on the Affectionately Yours Bundle.
For my first card I stamped a background using the Love & Affection stamp set (141545). I love the versatility of this stamp set. We used it quite a bit with that Artisan Design Team, so if you want to see more samples, click here. The set comes with some cute sentiments, but I opted to use the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set instead.
I love this fun autumn-inspired color pallet.
Even though this is a floral card, the colors almost give it a masculine appeal.
For my second card, I decided to focus on the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I think it is crazy the way Watercolor Wonder takes on an almost neon feel when paired with Crumb Cake cardstock. The sentiment is from the "Layering Love" stamp set and added a sweet little heart that I punched with the Owl Builder punch. I die cut a frame with the Lots of Labels Framelits.
I love the country feel of this designer series paper and I tried to carry through with it by adding linen thread and a flower embellishment.
I can't wait to see what the other Fancy Friday team members have created. Now be sure to hop on over to visit the incredibly talented Joyce Fowler.
