Welcome back to our Fancy Friday Blog Hop. With Christmas right around the corner, we thought it might be fun to create some last minute Christmas tags that you can make for your gift giving. You should have just arrived from visiting the amazing Erica Cerwin. Then when you leave here you will visit one of newest team members, Krista Frattin.
When I wrap my packages at Christmas, I either go a little rustic or super fancy...so since this is Fancy Friday, I thought I would create a fancy tag with lots of foil and shine.
I started by creating a tag base with the Banners Framelits, some Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (#139597) and some Whisper White cardstock. Then I added a Silver Metallic Foil Doily. Next, I stamped and heat embossed a silver snowflake from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and punched it out with the coordinating Flower Medallion punch. I added a gold metallic thread nest and the snowflake to the tag with dimensionals. I die cut the word "joy" from gold foil cardstock using the sing the Wonderful Wreath Thinlits Dies as the top layer.
Finally, I created a bow with some Whisper White 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon. I added a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and tied everything to the top of the tag with some Silver Cording Trim. The very last step was to add the Winter Wonderland Embellishment to the top of the button with a fine-tip glue pen and let it dry completely before moving it.
I can't wait to see what the other Fancy Friday team members have created. Now be sure to hop on over to visit Krista and show her some love.
