I wanted to show you the first card I made for this week's Global Design Project sketch challenge. I like this card, but I selected the other one because I felt like it fit the sketch better. This card is just filled with little "hidden treasures". Do you recognize this stamp? It is from the Lighthearted Leaves photopolymer stamp set. I honestly didn't think I would ever use this stamp as a leaf, so I trimmed off the stem and gave it a different look. I stamped it at an angle with Real Red, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey ink on Whisper White cardstock. It reminds me a little of jewels.
Here is another hidden treasure for you...it is the bow from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits die. I can't believe that I have missed the possibilities of this little bow. I just love it! You will probably be seeing me use this one again soon.
I stamped "Believe" with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder and added some rhinestones and sequins to complete the card.
Be sure to join us over at the Global Design Project to see some amazing inspiration from stampers from round the world.
