I am so glad that you are joining us this week for our Artisan Wednesday WOW blog hop. Just in case you are joining us for the first time, let me explain. Each week the ten members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team post projects that are created primarily from a box of goodies we receive monthly from Stampin' Up! If you are hopping, then you should have arrived here from Cindy Schuster's blog. This month is really exciting for me because I love so many of the items that we received in our March box.
It's been a while since I have worked with MDS or my Silhouette Cameo electronic cutter. Since I have been having issues with my shoulder, I thought it might be easier for me to go semi-digital this week. I even created a video to show you how to make this fun chevron background. Just in case you are wondering, I am making progress with my physical therapy, but I still have a way to go before I am back to normal. 
I love this card because it uses the best of both worlds: electronic cutting and traditional stamping. Since the video I made focuses on how to make the background, let me just go over a few details on the rest of the card. The greeting is from the Geometrical stamp set that coordinates with the MDS download that I used to create the background. The flower is from the Simple Stems set found in the Spring mini catalog. The Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine is from the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit (#130153). TIP: Before making my bows I spray the twine with heavy spray starch and then iron it. This gives it some body and makes it much easier to work with.
