If you know me very well then you would know that this card is really out of character for me. I don't really get into Halloween all that much, but I know a lot of people who love it, so I decided to make a card featuring the Hallowen Bash stamp set (#130580).
Once I got going on this card I really had a lot of fun making it. I started by stamping a piece of Very Vanilla CS with the Dictionary background stamp (#130351) in Baked Brown Sugar ink. I added to the grungy feel of the card by stamping some splatters with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Early Espresso ink. I did some serious distressing to the edges of the card and heavily sponged on more Early Espresso ink. The raven is from the Toil & Trouble set stamped in Basic Black. Next I added a strip of Witches' Brew DSP, some Linen Thread and a Basic Black button. Next I stamped the greeting from Halloween Bash in Basic Black ink. The skeleton and the skull are both from the Toil & Trouble set, both stamped in Baked Brown Sugar (I stamped off some of the ink first.) Some messy stitching at the top of the banner gives a little interest and adds to the grungy feel of this card as well. You can pick up everything you need here at my online store.
