I am the first to admit that many of my projects are a little advanced for some crafters. So when one of my team members ask me to come up with an easy project for a beginner workshop, I had to step back and remember what it was like when I first started stamping. I realized that I needed to get back to the basics, so that is exactly what I did. Here's a fun and easy treat bag and you can make in just a few minutes.
Here is a quick rundown of how to make this bag. First, I placed a piece of chipboard inside to give the bag some stability. Then I taped off the center portion of the bag with painter's tape and used a sponge dauber to drag Pumpkin Pie ink away from the tape toward the bottom of the mini muslin bag. Next, I used clean tape and taped off the top and bottom portions of the bag and repeted the process with Daffodil Delight ink. You really need to be agressive when applying the ink. Turn the bag over and do it all over again.
For the tag I cut two triangles with the Perfect Penants die in Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White cardstock. I stamped some fun images from the Helloween Hello stamp set with Jet Black StazOn Ink and colored the candy corn with Stampin' Write Markers. Next I punched a hole in the top of the tag and attached it to the cord. Easy, peasy! Now you give it a try!
