(Find out HERE how you can win some Blog Candy!)
Another day, another project to share. We are on day four of our 2013 Artisan Design Team blog hop. The creativity of these ladies just blows me away. Now do you understand why I didn't think I had a chance at being selected for this year's design team? Wowzers! I took one look at all the amazing projects and thought NO WAY are they going to pick me this year! I really did take a quick look at all of the finalists projects, took a quick picture of each, and then just walked away thinking "better luck next year". Yes, I can be my own worst critic. Ah, the life of a perfectionist!
So now we come to the card with a little bit of a story. When I made this card I took some really pretty pictures to share on my blog. But then I took the card apart to add some stitching to the feathers and forgot to re-photograph it. Oops! So this picture was taken before I added the stitching.
I just happened to take a quick snapshot of the finished card when it was laying on my work desk. I do that sometimes when I want to check the balance of a layout and make sure everything is exactly the way I want it. It isn't exactly the best picture I have ever taken, but it is definitely better than not having one at all. The card was created with the contents of the Boutique Boxes Designer Printed Kit. There's lots of splatters, sponging, and distressing going on here. Not exactly my "typical" style, but it was fun to stretch my creativity.
This is the inside of the card.
