Welcome back to day two of the Artisan Design Team blog hop. See, I told you that these ladies are amazing! I feel truly blessed to be given this opportunity to work along side these super talented demonstrators for the next year! I keep pinching myself and wondering if it is all a dream...but it is real and I feel like doing the happy dance every time I think about it. I don't know how I managed to get sandwiched between two such talented ladies on this blog hop...darned alphabetical order. But to tell the truth, it doesn't matter what order we go in, they are ALL amazing!
I absolutely adore this card. I almost held it back to submit to a couple of different magazines for potential publication, but decided at the last minute to send it in to the Artisan competition instead. Now I am really glad I did!
I tried something different for the Artisan competition this year. Instead of submitting cards made using the My Digital Studio software, I created mostly hand-stamped cards and saved the MDS for the inside of some of them. I really like the combination...they go together like peanut butter and jelly. It still amazes me how many people think that creating digital projects isn't "really" being creative. I totally disagree with that! If done well, digital cards and scrapbook pages can be just as good or better than a traditional. Here is a look at the inside of this card. I love how well the stamped images work with the digital ones!
