Today is day four of our ten day blog hop. If you are making the rounds, you should have just arrived from Mindy Bingamon's blog.
I really like doing clever things with my stamped images. For example, this card may just look like just an ordinary thank you card unless you know the inside story. The carrots are actually made using the ironing board stamp from the now retired House & Home stamp set.
Isn't that too funny? Goodness knows I hate anything to do with housework, so I had to find something else to do with that set. I would much rather be stamping than doing chores. LOL! You may also be asking yourself where the sentiment came. There wasn't a stamp that I could find anywhere that pulled this card together the way I wanted, so I had a customized stamp made. I was thrilled when I saw how it fit so perfectly.
Of course you can't have carrots on a card without having a bunny around somewhere! This is the inside of the card. The rabbit in the pot and the quote are from an entirely different set. Isn't it great how it all came together so well? I love it when things fall into place just like it was meant to be.
Well, that is all for today. Be sure to "hop" on over to Holly VanDyne's blog. Here is a list you can refer to if you get lost. We still have six more days to go, so be sure to check back every day this week for more great stamping and paper crafting ideas!
