I was very flattered when I went to Heather Summers blog today only to see a CASE of my other 3D Artisan Award entry. The way it was displayed at convention made it difficult to get a good look, so since mine was a little different than the one Heather designed, I thought would give you the details.
My box is a standard triangle box with a little cardstock flap added for the brim. I started with a piece of Basic Black CS that measured 4 1/4" x 11". I used the full sheets of the sticky tape to punch stars and then added glitter. For the buckle I punched out a square from some Lovely Lilac CS and then punched again with the Curly Label punch. I used two-way glue to add the purple glitter. Here is a side view that may help you understand exactly what I did.
I will be demonstrating a box similar to this one at my Fall workshops, so if you would like to learn how to make it and you live in the Mt. Juliet/Nashville area, I would love to teach you and your friends.
