This is a quick and easy love note (3"x3") that I created for a workshop that I did last week. I ended up not using it, but I thought I would share with you anyway. The card base is Old Olive. I used the scallop edge punch on the bottom edge of the card front and lined the inside with a small strip of DSP. I also used a 1" strip of DSP from the Holiday Treasures collection on the front.
The sentiment is from the Punches Three (level 1 hostess set) and punched with the Square Scallop Punch. I inked the stamp in Old Olive ink and then used my blender pen to remove the ink from the word "merry". Then I used a chocolate chip marker to reink the word and stamped it on Whisper White CS. I punched an additional scallop square from Riding Hood Red CS, cut it into two pieces and layered it behind the sentiment. Then I attached it to the card using dimensionals.
The inside sentiment is from the "Best Yet" (level 1 hostess set) in chocolate chip ink. Then for visual interest I stamped the corners with the swirls from Baroque Motifs in Old Olive ink.
