If you haven't guessed it already, my favorite color (especially this time of year) is definitely red. You might have also figured out that Festive Flurry is one of my favorite stamp sets at the moment! So, I thought it would be fun to put the two together and this is what I came up with. I stamped the snowflakes in Real Red ink on Whisper White cardstock and then die cut them with the coordinating die. Then I glued them to the card front. I love how it gives the look of embossing.
So while I was at it, I made this matching tag. I just love how the snowflake jumps off the tag. It is so pretty in real life. Now that I am looking at the pictures, I realize that I should probably go back and add some rhinestones, but it looks good without them too. To make the tag I just cut the top corners by hand and I used the Envelope Punch Board to round the bottom two corners. I used some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine for the tag tie-on. Here's a closer look from the side.
That is all I have for now. Be sure to check back later this week for our Artisan Wednesday WOW blog hop. In the meantime, I am busy creating fun display samples for our upcoming Leadership Conference in January. So that means I don't have much else to share at the moment, but I will have lots in January and February. Have a great weekend!
