I hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. It was my birthday this past Sunday. It was really wonderful getting to be "queen for a day", instead of waiting on my guys hand and foot. I am constantly reminding them that "I am the Mom, not the maid!" LOL!
Anyway, since it was my birthday, I thought it was only fitting to show this cute little birthday box I made using the Comfort Café DSP collection and the You're Amazing stamp set. I used an old pattern from SU for the box. It was called the "Happy Hearts" box. I love how the label fit perfectly on the front and all I had to do was score the little flap, punch some holes and thread some seam binding ribbon through. Even thought the yellows didn't match exactly, they were close enough that it looked great together.
I haven't really been stamping much lately. I am doing some much needed cleaning and organization...although it seems like if I take the time to concentrate on one room everything else goes to pot. I don't understand how I can clean a room and within an hour it be a total mess again. I think there is a "messy monster" hiding somewhere in my house. Oh that's right, I have a teenager...same thing, right?
