We were expecting a tornado, but this is what we received instead...massive amounts of marble-sized hail. I have never seen this much hail at one time. Thankfully it wasn't too big, but it still reeked havock. We literally had about an inch of hail piled up on our front porch...freeky!
Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. It could have been so much worse. My heart goes out to all of those who really did have tornadoes today and earlier in the week.
I can't imagine what people who were driving their cars did when this happened. I guess they just pulled over to the side of the road. One girl I talked to at the drive-through this evening said that she ran off the road and got her car stuck in the mud and another driver did the same. I was fortunate enough to make it home about ten minutes before this hit. Whew! I'm feeling very blessed right now!
