Who would have thought that getting a new refridgerator would be so much work! My sweet husband bought a incredible new refridgerator for me back in November for a Christmas present and they FINALLY delivered it yesterday. That's right, over two months later! That's another story in itself! When we bought it, it never occurred to me how involved the process would be.
We had an old, old, old fridge in the garage that we kept soft drinks and extra food items that wouldn't fit in our kitchen refridgerator. We asked the salesman if they would take the old refridgerator and move the one from the kitchen to the garage when they delivered the new one. "NO PROBLEM", he said. Yeah...right! No problem unless they have to remove the handles to get it through the door...then they won't touch it..."for liability reasons" the delivery man said! So for about four hours yesterday I had two refridgerators in my kitchen.
Now, I am not complaining really...I suppose it could be worse...I could have been without any refridgerators. So that meant I had to make a trip to the rental center in the pouring rain to rent an appliance dolly. Then my hubby had to literally take the doors off the old fridge to get it through the door, strap it to the dolly, and then roll it down a muddy hill to the garage. My poor husband was, well, hmmmm, let's just say he wasn't in the best of moods. So, seven hours later, we finally had everything where it should be...food and all! What a day!
Needless to say, there wasn't any stamping going on in my house yesterday...well, with the exception of stamping feet...but that doesn't count! So here is a quick MDS card that I made for my new friend, Rose. It's a 3"x6" card that uses Shades of Spring digital DSP.
It's beautiful here today, so maybe I'll have a chance to play with my new stamping supplies and have something for you soon.
