FTL109 - Hello Friend

Today I decided to play along with the Clean & Simple FTL109 sketch challenge.  I have been trying to find a way to use my Play Date rub-ons, so today I pulled them out and had some fun. I started with a  Chocolate Chip card base and added some Tempting Turquoise DSP from the Pawsitively Prints collection. I used my new Tasteful Trim die (#120893) in the Holiday Mini Catalog to create the scallop border from the Play Date Hearts DSP. I am totally loving this new die! I used Play Date rub-ons for the owl and added a red rhinestone red heart from my craft stash. For the greeting I used two different rub-ons. I started with the "HELLO" first and then added the "friend" on top of that. You have to be a little careful when layering two rub-ons, but I love the effect. I trimmed out the words and framed them with Chocolate Chip and Real Red CS using the Decorative Lable Punch (#102907) from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
