Recent Contest Winner

Back in the fall I made a really cute piece of home decor for my stamping room. Just a few days after finishing it, I received my "Stampin' Success". That month's list of contest catagories included Beautiful Brocade. I loved my letters so much that I didn't want to give them up, so I made a new set to enter into the contest. Here is a picture of the original "HOME" papier-mâché letters that I made. You can see my winning contest entry in the latest issue of "On Stage" magazine. I was so excited to have won that I did the "happy dance" for a week. My husband was serving in Iraq with the Army National Guard at the time, so it was just the thing I needed to lift my spirits. It also gave me the confidence to start this blog.
